- Chevalier demonstrates the Single Motor Multi-function Side Door Latch with Passive Keyless Entry and Keyless Go systems on Rover 75 (1998).
- Chevalier introduces the first ever self-powered Single Motor, Electrical Release and Power Clinch latch. This mechanism is adapted to function electrically even after power failure.
- Chevalier introduces the first ever synchronised Electrical Release Front Trunk Latch fitted to McLaren Super Car P11 and most recently on Aston Martin DB11.
- Chevalier introduces the world’s first Single Motor, Power Closure and Electrical Release System for Vehicle Tailgate and Decklid.
- Chevalier introduces the world’s first Single Motor Multi-drive system.
- Chevalier introduces the first ever Single Motor, Electrical Release and Clinch Closure System for passenger vehicle front trunk or engine cover. This system is revolutionary new. It integrates control electronics, uses a single motor and introduces a considerable number of new features and functions.
